Sabbaha lahu ma fissamawati wama fil-ardi wahuwa al-‘azeezu al-hakeem

Lahu mulkus samawati wal ardi yuhyi wa yumeetu wahuwa ‘ala kulli shay'in qadeer
To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent.

This verse affirms that Allah holds absolute dominion over the heavens and the earth. Everything that exists is under His control. He gives life to whom He wills and causes death to whom He wills. هُوَ الْأوَّلُ وَالآخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ (3)
Huwa al-awwalu wal-akhiru waz-zahiru wal-baatinu wahuwa bikulli shay'in aleem
He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.

The First (Al-Awwal): He is the First and has no beginning.
The Last (Al-Akhir): He is the Last and has no end.
The Ascendant (Az-Zahir): He is above all and transcends everything.
The Intimate (Al-Batin): He is closer to us than anyone else, knowing our innermost thoughts and intentions.

These names emphasize Allah's complete transcendence and immanence, signifying that He is beyond the limits of time and space while being intimately aware of all creation.

Creation of the Universe and the Role of Iron:

4. The Creation and Regulation of Affairs (Ayah 4):

لَهُ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ وَيُسَبِّحُهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ (4)
Lahu malakootu as-samawati wal ardi yudabbiru al-amra yusabbihu lahu ma fissamawati wal ardi wahuwa al-‘azeezu al-hakeem
To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He regulates the affairs, and whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

This verse reinforces Allah’s authority over the entire universe and His regulation of all affairs. Everything in creation is constantly in a state of submission to His will and is glorifying Him. Whether it is the stars, planets, or living beings, all are in harmony with His laws.

5. The Role of Iron (Ayah 25):

وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ وَرُسُلَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ (25)
Wa anzalna al-hadeeda feehi baasun shadeedun wamanafi'u lil-nasi waliya'lama Allahu man yansuruhu wa rusulahu bil-ghaybi inna Allaha qawiyun azeez
And We sent down iron, in which is strong material, benefiting mankind, so that Allah may test who will support Him and His messengers in the unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

This verse refers to the special role of iron in the world. Allah sent down iron as a means of strength (for weapons and tools), and it serves humanity in many ways. However, the verse also indicates that the existence of iron is a test from Allah.
